Specification Sales Manager

Salary: Up to £50K

About the role

 

This is an exciting and rewarding role selling a wide range of bespoke Bi-Folding doors, Glass
Sliding wall’s, Balcony Glazing and Glass Canopies into the residential and commercial sector.
Each project is unique, and this company has some outstanding ‘flag-ship’ projects in its
catalogue.

This role is Specification lead – dealing with Architects but also managing projects through Main
& sub-contractors. As well as targeting House Builders offering the opportunity for a 360-service
including installation.

The company pride themselves on being strong in gaining specification, but this role will
now involve lots of breaking specifications with QS/Buyers at the Contractor stage.
The company have offices throughout Europe and a UK based showroom which is state of the art
and superb for showing clients round the range of products.
The region you will be focusing on is Midlands/East Midlands and anything North of Birmingham.
Opening a broad spectrum of potential clients. The position will involve creating and presenting
lots of CPD’s and customer interaction.

Product knowledge is beneficial, however not essential as there will be product training available.

The Candidate

 

My client is looking for a sales individual who can hit the ground running. You must have a
technical product background with specification experience. It is imperative you can demonstrate
success in presenting and selling to Architectural practices. If you have been more contractor
focused and have the aptitude to work with Architects, then this is still an excellent role for you.
This role will also be selling into House Builders so experience there would be excellent.
Ideally you will have a proven track record within building product sales in familiar industry. This
company are at the top end of their market, there products you could define as being the
‘Porsche’ by comparison to other companies. So, a polished and professional Specification Sales
Manager would be well suited along with having lots of ambition, drive and plenty of enthusiasm.
